SAIL RACING FOR ALL

Speers Point Amateur Sailing Club (SPASC) is situated at the northern end of beautiful Lake Macquarie next to Speers Point Park. We sail most Saturdays from September through to April each year and welcome all sailors.

We are a friendly, family-oriented local sailing club for “off the beach” sailing craft established to foster the sport of sailing on Lake Macquarie. We are an accredited Australian Sailing Discover Sailing Centre with qualified Dinghy Instructors who support our Junior Sailing Program in a safe and nurturing environment. We are also an Active Kids approved provider.

We cater equally to our monohull and catamaran fleets and have club boats that you can use at low cost should you wish to try a dinghy class. Regardless of your experience level, we will find a class to suit you.

Whether you are a novice just starting out, have your own boat or are seeking to crew, please come and join us in the thrill that is sail racing! We run learn to sail training for adults and juniors throughout our sailing season which runs September to April.
